MINUTES.

It certainly is rather difficult to

suppose she was properly examined by Sir

John Rose Bradford, who passed her without

qualification as physically fit on the

End of Hoveer. She reached Hong Kong

less than three months afterwards,and

was promptly admitted to hospital for a month, and re-admitted less than four months after she resumed duty, having been

receiving treatment in the intervening period. She was then invalided from

the service. It is of course only

recently that we have asked Sir J.R. Bradford to report in detail (see on 33552/21 General) but we assumed in our

letter that the examination was already

sufficiently thorough to need no amplifica

tion. This coming on the top of the

other cases named in the minutes on that

paper leaves a cost unfortunate impression

However, put by as proposed.
